- Despite all efforts: The Cleansing happens, initiated by Tealor Aranteal [sic] himself. Although the actions of the Black Guardian were wrong he was right in one point: It would make no sense to sacrifice myself to stop the Cleansing. Whereas seeking refuge in flight and leading the creation of a new human race from the Star City could be our one and only chance to break the Cycle once and for all - and not through a Beacon but instead by freeing us from our weaknesses from which the High Ones derive their power.
Walkthrough
This quest will begin after Fleshless, if you choose to flee to the Star City instead of destroying the Beacon. Use the teleport scroll added to your inventory to teleport to the Sun Temple. Before going inside the capsule and leaving Enderal, you can talk to Grandmaster Tealor Arantheal and the companion you didn't romance for the last time in Sun Temple.
Grandmaster Tealor Arantheal is lying on the Beacon. He does not regret lighting up the Beacon and is unwilling to believe he himself is the one who initiated the Cleansing. The quote "I lead them to the light, I alone" are his last words. If you romanced Calia, Jespar can be found here. When you arrive the Sun Temple, walk towards the beacon and stop before the stairs. Jespar is in front of the pillar on your right. He does not regret for trying to be part of something good for once in his life despite dying for it. You can choose to tell him that you are going to stop the Cleansing or it is too late to do so.
Follow the quest marker to the Chronicum's Archive, where you'll find the escape capsules that can take you to the Star City. Interact with the bottom capsule to put your companion in it, then walk around the capsule (in the very same room) and you will come across a ladder (when facing the capsule, it's on your left). Interact with the ladder and you will find yourself facing the button. Press the button and the capsule will be launched. The screen will go white and you'll find yourself on the Dream World again, except that this time your companion is waiting for you there, not Daddy. As you approach them, they'll disappear and reappear further down the path leading away from the house. This will continue until you wake up, on the Star City. You'll find your companion looking down into Earth, wondering what comes next.
Then, this quest will end and the credits will roll. Congratulations, you have just finished Enderal!
