Crafting points are used to raise Workmanship skills.

Aquire

Crafting Points are normally earned upon level up, but they can also be acquired through books that appear in the world named "Learning Book" or as quest rewards. One level up awards 4 crafting points.

Use

Crafting points are used upon reading a crafting book. They are called Crafting Book: SKILL, LEVEL, where SKILL is replaced by the workmanship skill and LEVEL is the level of the book.
In order to raise your level, you must read a book with a higher level than you have in the specific skill. The book levels are:

Notes:
