Deep Digger's Gouge is an abandoned mine close to Deep Digger's Settlement. Behind the door is a narrow path which leads into the large main hall which is occupied by several Frost Trolls. Left of the stairs is a chest locked with an apprentice lock. At the end of the hall, a vein of Shadow Ore can be found on the right side.

Following the stairs upstairs are two more Frost Trolls and two Conjured Guardians as well as Lost Ones. They are accompanied by Modruk Darkhand.
