My warnings were for nothing … scared and shaking, I was only able to watch how this poor adventurer was ripped to shreds by this cloddish monster, down there. I did nothing. Nothing at all. I should have thrown myself before the beast, and maybe he would have had a chance and I wouldn't have to live with this dishonour.
