Magic is an innate ability of people called Arcanists. The Sea of Eventualities is the name given to all the alternate realities happening parallel to a person's current reality: "For example, imagine a room exactly like this one, except Firespark's beard is on fire", as explained by Jespar Dal'Varek. Magic is the ability to summon part of an alternate reality into the current reality to, for example, light Firespark's beard on fire.
