Magic, an innate ability of people called Arcanists, is the ability to see the Sea of Eventualities and conjure parts of it into the current reality. Magical strength is defined by how far an arcanist can see into these realities, and how well they can conjure part of the target alternate reality into the current reality. The mind's inability to cope with seeing multiple realities at once leads to Arcane Fever.
