There are 13 distinct regions in Enderal that in most cases are easily distinguishable in-game because of differences in geography and physical appearance. The various regions are listed following the map below.

Interactive Enderal Map
This is an interactive map of Enderal that includes map markers for all the various places and points of interest in Enderal. The map also contains various bits of information about the points of interest such as any guidelines or tips about encounters at those locations or specific loot found there. Once there, just click on the Enderal logo and then the navigation menu at the top left for the Interactive Map link under the Cartography section.
Regions
Ark
Enderal's capital, Ark, is the only large city in Enderal and is centrally located between the Heartlands and King's Mountain Pass. Ark also has a harbor on King's Bay. The most striking structure in Ark is the ivory-colored Sun Temple perched high on a cliff overlooking Ark. Ark is divided into several sections ... the Military Barracks, the Foreign Quarter, the Marketplace, the South Quarter and the Nobles' Quarters.
Heartland

The Heartland is a large central region within Enderal, bordering all other regions and dominating much of the easily accessible land. It is home to Ark, the capital city of Enderal, and furthermore to the Sun Temple, the palace of the rulers of the realm.

Sun Coast

The Sun Coast is a small region on the western end of Enderal. It is mostly uninhabited, the only center of people being the small town of Riverville.
