The Shadow of Transcience, also known as Father's Shadow, is a possible mount for the Prophet (similar to Whirlwind from the Quest Gnarldalf has to die).
Found
A possible reward in the final Rhalâta faction quest Dark Chambers of our Mind, only available if siding with the Father. Per the note left behind by the Father, the Shadow is found near Monastery Westgard in the Dark Valley.

Notes
- The first time you mount it, you can give it a custom name. You can rename this mount, or any other mount for that matter, by using a Horse Flute to summon a mount then selecting Rename Mount.
- Unlike other mounts, the Shadow does not become tired while running and can run indefinitely. The Shadow is also capable of fighting, making it the fastest and most powerful of all the mounts the player can obtain.
- The Shadow is capable of swimming in water while the player is mounted, however animations may appear bugged.
- Riding the Shadow for the first time will grant you the "Direwolf" Steam achievement.
