I could not avoid killing those strayed heretics - may they burn in the scorching sun forever. Now the deity, its spirit seemingly slumbering inside the half-sunken, weathered sculpture, will speak to me again,
She tells me stories long lost and forgotten, stories of the Pyreans who once walked this grotto, and asks a favor of me. I have noted her words carefully and kept them safe, so I could fulfill her wish one day... alas, I am incapable of leaving this strange, wondrous grotto. I despise the sunlight.
It seems to me as if I have always been here. My memories of what was and what is begin to fade, and only as a mere shadow of my former self do I roam about, eternally in service to my goddess.
