This information is no longer accurate. With the release of Forgotten Stories, Arveldhiin the Wanderer now drops a unique Elementalist amulet called Song of the Winter and a unique armor piece known as the Heart of the Wanderer. Additionally, the game will now properly credit the player with XP points for defeating him.
