Poems from Fallas

Author Unknown.

Love pain and malice.
That is always a feeling.
That awakens in us.
In which type.
In which way.
That is not clear to us.
But we locked them firm and deep.
In our hearts,
sealed and forever preserved,
because without one, the other cannot be given.
No love without malice
and no malice without pain,
these feelings belong together...
Just like you and me.
Here this morning, here where we stand.
Here where we go.
There where you sing
there where you jump.
There where we are.
There where I love.
There where you love.
There where we give ourselves.
The feelings of the night
The feelings of the day

They are everywhere, as beautiful as a flower.
Love has ensnared you.
It will show you what you need,
and guide you on the way I found you.
But where there is love, there is also malice.

The malice, mean as ever,
Cannot see it.
When we, with our loved ones,
Walk hand in hand.
It sows its fruit
In a strange way
But it often bears fruit, alas
Few have this fate.
Malice is a simple game
A thousand chains it puts on
And a thousand chains tear at us.
A thousand chains in this world.
It gets hot in the heart and the pain enters...

The pain?
What is worse than the pain
