The Penny Road is a small sub-region of the Heartland, and serves as a passage between the Heartland and the Sun Coast. It is a narrow, winding passage with mountains on either side, and is virtually completely unpopulated, with only travelers, bandits, and transient hunters being the exception.

History
In the past, the Penny Road was used frequently; A trading post and an inn thrived among the mountain passes. However, after Isolation, the trade routes seized up, the path and its infrastructure fell into disrepair, and the Road itself became obscure.
