Deep inside the Crypt there's a wall with a Vatyr head. Interacting with it will start the quest Home of the Forsaken.
A Strange Place
A Strange Place is a small location outside the Crypt, which can be accessed only by using a scroll found inside the Crypt (Scroll: Teleport to A Strange Place). The area is guarded against any unwanted intruders by a few unique wisps, the guardians of Erica’s treasure chest that was legally bequeathed to her. If you use the scroll and teleport yourself to the Strange Place it will be impossible to return to the Crypt from this location, as there is no entrance to the crypt available. Therefore, it is recommended to have any means of teleportation close at hand. Otherwise, brace yourself for a taxing descent from a steep crevice.
