- I cannot get the events in Old Dothûlgrad out of my mind - when Calia saved me from that bandit she seemed transformed. It nearly looked like she was possessed by something, something dark and undeniable evil [sic]. She evaded my questions in the ruin but perhaps she is now prepared to speak about the events.

- Calia revealed that she has some sort of entity in her, ever since she can think - a "second soul" as she called it. This being, which she only calls as "thing" appears in situations in which she is confronted with death, blood or in general violence and then tries to take over the control from her. Apparently the same thing - in a smaller scale - happened to her in Old Dothûlgrad. Calia seems to suffer very much under the scourge of that entity and it seems to be responsible for her secluded personality.
Walkthrough
This quest will begin automatically after the end of Deus Ex Machina, if you completed Two Souls, Part I before. Follow the quest marker and you'll find Calia kneeling in front of Malphas' statue on the Sanctum. Talk to her, select the <Character> option and you'll both move to a more isolated location.
Calia will then reveal to you that she has another being living inside her - a "second soul" - that seems to take pleasure in violence and death. She fights hard every day to keep that "thing" - as she calls it - under control, as she can feel whenever it tries to take over. She has learned to control her thoughts and actions to prevent it from taking her over, and that is why she is so devoted to The Order's discipline and so secluded.
After that, she asks that you keep it a secret and says the needs to be alone for a while. This quest will then end.
