The hero learned of two things at this point. First, the world awaits a cycle event called the "Cleansing" in which the whole known civilisations disappear without a trace if no one stops it. Previously none of the civilisations was able to stop this process and this process repeated unknown times. Secondly, it seems that a "Messenger" arrives before this Cleansing event and this character will play a decisive role in the fight against the Cleansing. In this cycle, messenger is the hero.

Finding Jorek
Step 1
+
This quest will begin automatically after you accept Tealor's proposal to help in the fight against The Cycle. He says that you need to join The Order formally, and will direct you to where the initiation trial is about to begin. Be sure to stock up on a few Ambrosias before going, as you'll have to walk through the Whisperwood, which is filled with magical mushrooms that raise your Arcane Fever.
* Meet Signet Leader Jorek Bartarr and the 2 novices at the Heartland's border (**)
+
Myrad Keeper is in the Ark City South Quarters, travel to Heartland, Border. The hero can also travel to that location on his own. Finally he will meet Jorek following the directions on the map and speak with him.
+

* Talk to the other novices.
+
When you arrive there, Signet Leader Jorek Bartarr will automatically talk to you and take your package, instructing you to introduce yourself to the other examinees, Calia Sakaresh and Dunwar. Calia seems very receptive and open to your addition, while Dunwar is less than thrilled to have a Pathless become a Keeper.
Novices here are Calia Sakaresh and Dunwar. After the hero talked with them, Signet Leader Jorek Bartarr will stop reading his book and brief them how the rite will take place. Then he will give everyone a strange potion.
+

In the forest, the purple coloured trees will increase the Arcane Fever effectiveness of the hero if comes closer enough.
+
Journey through the Forest
 +
After talking with your comrades, Jorek will give you a Strange Potion and start walking towards the ritual location. On the way you'll experience a vision, which you can tell Jorek about, but that simply leads to him telling you he doesn't believe in those visions with the same fidelity Tealor Arantheal does.

Step 2
+
In the middle of the Whisperwood, you'll encounter a supposed merchant, which makes Jorek suspicious, since no merchant would travel through the Whisperwood. You soon learn that the merchant is infected by the Red Madness. Dunwar, for fear of being attacked, quickly executes the man with Magic, much to Jorek's anger.
* Follow Signet Leader Jorek Bartarr to the rite place (**)
+
The hero enters the forest following the leader with the group. Some Pus Bettles will attack them on their way but will not cause too trouble.
+

Then on the road forward, they'll encounter a man. Leader Jorek will warn about being cautious and move towards the man. The man's motives are unclear and Dunwar's interruption will not help to understand it, but everyone suspects that the man is infected with the Red Madness. After the scene is over, the group will continue on their way.
+
After a bit more walking, you'll find the ritual place, where Jorek will confirm the death of the Light-Born by the hands of an unknown traveler, leading to an argument between the party members. He will then tell everyone to drink the Strange Potion, starting with The Prophet. You will automatically drink the potion and fall unconscious.

This step will be completed when the group arrives Ritual Site. Then Leader Jorek will inform the group that the gods, Light-born is killed by an unknown person and there will be arguments between the group members. When it is over, Leader Jorek will ask to the hero to drink the strange potion he gave. The hero will fall down and faint.
+
Strange Place
 +
You'll wake up in an unknown cell, and all your items will be taken away, leaving you with just some Raddled Clothes and a Knife. Aixon, your apparent cellmate, will "greet" you, questioning the fabrics of reality, life and death, and telling you about the suppressor that will only let you out once you abandon your past.

Step 3
+
When you approach the broken wall at the front of the cell, it will magically transform into a gate, much to Aixon's surprise, who now tags along with you as you explore the strange location. You'll have to fight several ghostly Seducers, who, according to Aixon, are the "scourges of the Supressor", bent on punishing those who try to escape.
* Escape from this strange place (**)
+
The hero will wake up at an dungeon like place and a human male, Aixon, will meet him and warn him about the Suppressor who keeps them in this prison. Aixon will question the hero's motives and suggests that maybe the hero is actually at a near death situation and his body lies beneath the sea after he is thrown down the ship when they caught with Sirius and the life he believes is real was actually the dreaming. Aixon then leave the hero be.
+

When the hero comes closer to a wall crack, the wall disappears and a door materialises before him. This surprises Aixon and he suggests that together they should investigate forward. When the hero opens the door, a seducer ghost attacks them.
+
On your way you'll find more holding cells, one which contains the corpse of Daddy. Aixon will continuously tell you that you should've never left the cell in the first place, during the entire journey.

They together move forward and meanwhile hero finds a written paper on a chest.
+
After a while, you'll find your objective: A key on top of a pedestal, which is surrounded by spikes that block your path. Use the chain to the right of the doorway you came through to lower the spikes and grab the key. You'll need to place something else on top of the pedestal to lower the spikes again. You can use one of the various items beneath the pedestal for that, such as the Human Heart or the Empty Wine Bottle. Now, you can unlock the door right ahead with the key you just found.

The group moves through a series of corridors and caves while seducer ghosts continue to attack them. The hero finds a dead body called Daddy in a prison cell. Regularly Aixon falls on his knees and begs for forgiveness of Suppressor that they are trying to escape. They finally reach a room with a Key to the Freedom on an altar. When the hero takes and uses the key on a nearby door, they return back and locked to the same dungeon room where they started this investigation.
+
As you enter the door you just unlocked, you'll see a familiar effect, and the door will turn into a wall, leading you to the same enclosed cell you started at. Aixon will complain once again, saying that you should have never left the cell in the first place. He will remind you that to gain freedom, you must let go of your past.

After the hero discussed with Aixon, the hero will attack him and Aixon will explain finally the hero found who locked him here and release him.
+
Aixon, the part of your mind that keeps reminding you of your past and of your regrets, is what binds you to this place. Attack him to let go of your past, and you'll leave the strange location.

The hero will wake up in a bed in a well decorated room with Jespar Dal'Varek in it.
+
Waking Up
 +
You'll wake up on a small room with no one but apparently Jespar. Talk to him and you'll get a message from the High Ones, who will say that you're pathetic, powerless, and not any different from the others before you, and that's why you and everyone else must be burned by The Cleansing.

When the hero comes closer, Jespar will greet him. While the conversation continues, Jespar's voice will suddenly change and begin to judge the hero for his past and blaming him being pathetic. Different characters from hero's past will appear around the room and continue to tease the hero until finally a voice without a body will warn him that he is guilty for his past, especially being the killer of his family, and that is the very reason why the humanity as a whole needs to be cleansed and even they are so persistent to achieve things, the Prophet will never be able to stop the cycle. The voice tells the hero that they wanted to meet and see him up close, then asks him to wake up.
+
Now you'll really wake up and find Calia standing by your bed. Dunwar is still sleeping on a bed and Calia is looking outside through a window. She congratulates you for being successful in the trial and informs you that Dunwar has failed and will never wake up. You can talk to her to begin her character quest, Two Souls, Part I. After that, this quest will end and Part of Something Momentous, Part III will begin.

The hero wakes up in the same room, this time Calia Sakaresh and Dunwar in it, raining outside. She congratulates the hero that he was successful with the trial and informs him that Dunwar is failed and will never wake up.

Finding Jorek

This quest will begin automatically after you accept Tealor's proposal to help in the fight against The Cycle. He says that you need to join The Order formally, and will direct you to where the initiation trial is about to begin. Be sure to stock up on a few Ambrosias before going, as you'll have to walk through the Whisperwood, which is filled with magical mushrooms that raise your Arcane Fever.

Journey through the Forest

After talking with your comrades, Jorek will give you a Strange Potion and start walking towards the ritual location. On the way you'll experience a vision, which you can tell Jorek about, but that simply leads to him telling you he doesn't believe in those visions with the same fidelity Tealor Arantheal does.

Strange Place

You'll have to fight several ghostly Seducers, who, according to Aixon, are the "scourges of the Supressor", bent on punishing those who try to escape.

On your way you'll find more holding cells, one which contains the corpse of Daddy. Aixon will continuously tell you that you should've never left the cell in the first place, during the entire journey.

She congratulates you for being successful in the trial and informs you that Dunwar has failed and will never wake up. You can talk to her to begin her character quest, Two Souls, Part I. After that, this quest will end and Part of Something Momentous, Part III will begin.

Notes

 • You'll see another vision at the entrance of the forest. You can try to speak with the Leader about this with no result.
