Description

Finn Dalires is an Apothecarius. He and Carbos are gathering herbs in the Three Rivers, Sun Coast. He is also the first person whose future/past player can see in his/her visions. His first interaction with player looks like random encounter; player stumbles upon Apothecarii by following only available path from Abandoned Temple. Finn is guarding their simple campsite, with two tents, campfire and alchemy station. There is one leor, too. Shortly after Carbos returns, but he is very suspicious towards player (PC actually can't engage in conversation with him). After helping player with directions, he goes back to his work. Suddenly, player staggers because of fever, and Finn offers one of his potions. While waiting for Finn to finish, player see vision of great explosion, followed by intense shouting. When asked about it, Finn gives confused answer, connecting the vision with outburst of fever. But, just a few seconds later, Carbos was shoot and killed by bandits hidden on the other side of river. In mere moments player and Finn are rendered unconscious by barrage of exploding arrows. Player later finds out that Finn was killed in that attack. All this happened as part of cut scene, so player can't change anything (save the Apothecarii, for example).

Character

He is friendly and helpful to people. He is respectful to oath of the Apothecarius. Discussions between him and Carbos are spiced with bits of sarcasm, especially when it comes to spending their herbs for "gruntroot potion" for player. His knowledge about healing is fairly basic (he didn't recognized player's "Arcane Fever", as Jespar later pointed out).

Notes

• He is the first person who founds out about our fever.
• Finn and Carbos were briefly mentioned by Riverville mayor Jugar Featherwall during the quest "The Voice from the Water"
• Despite being marked as essential in Creation Kit, he dies along with Carbos in the bandit attack.
• If you take their badge and bring it to Torius Flameling in the Sun Temple he will give you pennies.
• He is the first merchant you can trade with.
• Finn can't be pickpocketed.
