- Grandmaster Tealor Arantheal: Died in the prison of his son for supporting the Light-Born which he rebelled against.
- 7 Light-Born: Killed by Shadowgod.
- Magister Yero, Novice Gidea and 14 other Novices: Died in the explosion which Yero caused.
- Sirius: Stabbed in the chest by Captain Rocio for travelling in their ship illegally.
- Main Protagonist: Hit once and drowned in the Red Sea
- Carbos: Hit by an arrow by bandits
- Finn: Hit by an exploding arrow by the same bandits who killed Carbos
- Dunwar: Couldn't wake up after taking the final test of the Trial.
- Brother Galjus: Killed by a wild mage in a mine near Northwind
- Karek: Stabbed many times in the chest and the head by Calia Sakaresh.
- Constantin Firespark: Attacked Jespar Dal'Varek and The Prophet to stop the Cleansing and couldn't succeed.
- Lishari Peghast: Found out that there's a traitor in the Order and killed by Yuslan Sha'Rim
- Jespar Dal'Varek: Killed by his sister, Adila Dal'Varek. Later revived by the Veiled Woman

- Presumably Magistra Yaela: Created a magic barrier to help us escape and sacrificed herself. It is not known that she is alive or not though.
- 2 Keepers, a Novice and an Arcanist: Possessed and attacked The Prophet. He/She had to kill them.
- a Young Woman: Executed by the Nehrimese in the Undercity. Unfortunately execution couldn't be stopped.
Avoidable Deaths
- Sevf: Burnt alive. The Prophet Has the option to save him though.
- A Keeper: Possessed and attacked to the Prophet and he/she had to kill him in Emporium. However it can be prevented if The Prophet gets out of the Emporium fast enough.
- Pathira: Either dies because of the Cleansing or the explosion. However the Prophet can presumably save her by completing Apotheosis, Part II and thus making her stuck in the Horst.
- All People in Qyra, Kilé and Arazeal: Died because of the Cleansing. They can be saved if the Prophet choose to sacrifice himself.
- the Prophet: Sacrificed himself/herself to buy people in other continents time. He/She can be saved if the Prophet choose to escape to the Starling City.
- Jespar Dal'Varek: Either dies because of the Cleansing or the explosion. But the Prophet can save him by romancing him insted of Calia Sakaresh.
- Calia Sakaresh: Either dies because of the Cleansing or the explosion. But the Prophet can save her by romancing her instead of Jespar Dal'Varek.
